I have always wanted an Explorer, for me it's probably the best shape ever invented for guitar. I purchased the wood for this one from Pango Music in China. I've been doing bits and pieces on it when ever I get the chance. So far I have done tons of sanding with 320 grit paper, glued the set neck in position and have now started oiling it with penetrating guitar finishing oil, which I purchased from Crimson Guitars located in the UK. I scored some super cool EVH Wolfgang Humbuckers on eBay. I'll be installing a Babicz FCH Original Series Tune-O-Matic Bridge & Tailpiece and Sperzel Trim Lok Locking Machine Heads.
